Honestly, it wasn't what I was expecting, but it is very comfortable. I'm hopeful the rubber backing holds up to repeated use. I read reviews and googled a bunch trying to understand the hype for an expensive sling. Comfortable, doesn't move, looks great, are the repeating words I found. I agree it is comfortable and doesn't move. If it holds up then it was a decent purchase. It is not bulky at all . I looked at the claw sling, but didn't care for the big piece of rubber (an example of another I was considering).
