The SKIF Urbanite II knife is the new generation of the popular 400 Series. The name of the knife speaks of its path — urban use. Nevertheless, its design and functionality allows you to successfully use the knife not only in the city, but also during outings on nature. In the new Urbanite generation, 9Cr18MoV steel with a large amount of carbon and chromium became somewhat harder and more resistant to corrosion than its 8Cr13MoV predecessor. Direct descents begin almost from the boot, on its upper part there is a notch under the thumb. The shape of the blade is Drop-Point, which provides knife-good stitching and cutting properties. Stonewash blade processing will protect the knife from minor scratches or scuffs that periodically occur with frequent use. The knife opens with a peg and flipper, creating a kind of emphasis for the hand, which is useful during a power puncture. Thanks to the ball bearing system, the blade exit is smooth and does not require significant force when opening. The lock is an invariable Frame-Lock, by the way — one of the most reliable locks among folding knives. A distinctive feature of the new generation of these knives is the presence of a sub-finger notch not only on the butt and handle, but also on the flipper and lock plate. The handle is made of material G10, perfectly lies even in a wet hand or gloves.
